The U.S. Directory.com online business called me today from 863-274-2134 in Boca Raton, Florida asking for verification of information about my business. I asked that this request be sent in writing through the mail but was told no. I asked who owned the business and was told that it was confidential. I asked for a mailing address but was not given one. The representative, Rain, stated that he makes $150,000 per hour and that he would not give the mailing address because he did not want to get more death threats or a bomb sent to him in the mail. He wanted to guide me through verifying my online business then I assume trick me into my banking information and charge me for being listed. When I kept questioning he said that he was authorized to remove my listing from the directory for a year and that I had today and tomorrow to call him back with the information.
