RECEIVED A CALL AT WORK AND THE INDIVIDUAL SAID THAT I WAS RANDOMLY SELECTED TO RECEIVE $9,000 FROM THE U.S. GOVERNMENT. I WAITED A BIT TO HEAR WHAT ELSE HE WAS SAYING WHILE I GOT A PEN TO WRITE DOWN MORE INFORMATION SO I CAN REPORT IT. HE ASKED IF I WAS THERE AND I TOLD HIM "YEAH" AND AFTER HE HUNG UP. WHEN I TRIED TO CALL BACK IT WAS A NON WORKING NUMBER. HE MIGHT HAVE SPOOFED MY PHONE BUT NOT SURE. ITS A WASHINGTON DC NUMBER. P.O.S. SCAMMERS, WISH I HAD BETTER TECH TO TRACK AND TRACE.

4:48 pm June 8. Received phone call from 202-666-3917. Caller ID stated caller was Dist.of Columbia. Woman on phone sounded foreign. Told me I had been chosen to receive a Grant of $8400 from U.S. Treasury. Wanted a credit card, ATM card or bank account #. So I gave her a credit card with very low amount avail. Then she gave me an Approval # and another phone # to immediately call back to confirm. The # was 202-517-2967. Man answered and asked for the approval # and my full name. Then said I would receive the "grant" money into my credit card account and it would Only require a One time charge of 250$. I informed him I knew this was a scam and was going to report them to the BBB. He said "* you" and hung up. I promptly canceled the credit card I gave them.
