Sent me a letter in the mail pertaining to an EIP and also about obtaining stimulus money. Gave me a number to call to speak to a representative. Wanted bank account information in order to get the funds sent to me. Called the number and someome claiming to be from the the US Department of Treasury answered and her name was Cynthia. Told me i could send all correspondence to The US Dept of Treasury and gave me a Kansas City, MO 64999 address which made me a little suspicious. I told her that i didnt know of this goverment agency being located there. she told me they had IRS location all over but she seemed a little nervous when i asked. Did not give her any information. hung up and called ScamPulse.com to see if this information was legit.
