Scammer stated he was Officer Hernandez with US Customs and Border Patrol and immediately requested I verify my identity. I asked for his full name to which he declined to provide. After a few back and forth on me asking for the reason of the call and why I needed to provide my name when it was, he who called me. He hung up agitated.

I immediately called back the number and was greeted with "the number you are calling is out of service".

The scammer had a strong "indian" accent.

Called my cell phone stating they were from US customs and border patrol and that a package addressed to me from Mexico was found to have illegal contents. When I asked for a phone number to call back they hung up.

Someone called claiming to have intercepted a package containing illegal substances, money, and fake driver's license. The scammer gave my name and an old address of mine to open my trust, but would not let me answer his questions by constantly interrupting me to emphasize the severity of the situation. He gave me a name, badge number, and case number, but did not want me to hang up the phone. I tried to tell him I was currently at work and needed him to call me back later so I can actually focus and be able to confirm his identity, and he tried to stop me from hanging up, told me the US Marshalls would call me if I did, and then asked me to confirm my zipcode. I told him I couldn't do that cause I didn't know if he was telling the truth, and hung up. I received 5 phone calls after that while I was still working, four of which were completely different numbers and three different states. When I got off work, I attempted to call the numbers back, only to be met with Google Voice operator, or automated messages claiming to have been disconnected or not working, which confirmed my suspicions. I am still receiving various calls trying to get ahold of me.

Several calls today 10/5/21 - Package confiscated by Border patrols with seeds at value of $8000 and a copy of my drivers license - Border Agent Steve Williams Badge# 3749 - If payment not received they would start "impeachment process"

Received an automated phone call about 3:00 pm stating this was US Customs and Border Patrol and they intercepted a package addressed to me at the border with an illegal substance in it. They claim it is mail fraud and a warrant for my arrest has been issued. They request I call a number or press a number to speak with someone - I hung up at that point.
