Phone Call Received; Upon answer I asked to be put on DNC List, male preceded to entice conversation. Repeatedly asked to be put on list to the point I had to record the conversation. The “representative” furthers by telling me to hang up so he can put me on list, and hesitated to answer questions.

The call came in today 05/18/2021 from an area code in my area. I am expecting a local call from an install service so I answered it. I said hello, there was a pause and then a weird boop noise. Then a mans voice said, can you hear me? Without thinking, I said yes. The voice said it was from US auto care and started a spiel about auto insurance. The voice was a recording and I hung up immediately.

Have been contacted multiple multiple times, have repeatedly got into heated conversations about why I want to be placed in the do not call list

They question me, like I’m stupid.

Received about 10 calls, all with different numbers but using local (local to me - 210) area code. All identified themselves as calling from US Auto Care and all requesting my permission to give my number to insurance agents to call me with a quote. Every time I tell the caller that I am on the Do Not Call list and request they take my number off of their call list. The last call ended like this (please forgive the profanity but this is exactly what he said when I asked him to take me off of their list): "you know what, *my name*, *** *** *** *** *** *** ***". Then he hung up.
