This job popped up on Indeed Job Search for a Data entry remote position. I was asked to go to Google Chat for an interview by Olivia Dotson who asked me a bunch of questions and sent me link to their business to review. She then said I scored 83 out of 100 on the questions and was hired. I was then given a list of equipment I would need to work from home that they would pay for. When they asked what bank I bank at I told them to mail me the check. They said it would come via FedEx and I need to report back to Google Chat 9am tomorrow morning. When I tried to google their website directly off the internet it does not exist and the phone number comes up as a scam number.

I answered an add on Indeed for a File Clerk Remote for Clemenston Construction Inc for Fargo. I got an email from a guy called Adam Miller saying that they got my resume application and wanted an interview immediately for Remote Data Entry Clerk/Administrative Assistant/Customer Service Position at URtown Healthcare for 24.95. During the interview they asked me a few questions, said that I scored a 83/100 and qualified for the position. Then when it came to the part where they were to send me a check for all the supplies needed to start the home office, First you had to download Google Chat for the interview, then when it came to the time to send me the check I told them that I would have to verify first it was a legit check and call the BBB, then they quit talking to me.

They email you for a job offer under the company LESDEP, then they tell you it’s called urtown healthcare. LESDEP is a true non profit out of Africa, has nothing to do with these scammers. They offer you a job through a “ recruiter “ and she’ll question you then boom, you scored 8.5 out of 10, YOU’RE HIRED. They told me they’ll send me an overnight check and a hard copy of paper work to fill out, so I can purchase the equipment needed. We’ll I just received the check only, no paperwork, no vendor, just a check, mailed out from Michigan, meanwhile the company is out of Chino, CA. Can’t pull up the company website anywhere, does not exist, and when I did supposedly go on their website, at the bottom it had the company name of - central city community center Not urtown healthcare. I drilled supposed recruiter and she stopped the chat. Beware, this is a scam to deposit a bull[censored] check and then you’re out of over 7,000 dollars. I won’t make that mistake.
