Upscale Marketing Incorporated Reports & Reviews (3)

Bryan Vulbrock called me in August to sell me advertising in a publication called Golfer's Digest that he said was carried in local country clubs here in Salt Lake City. He told me I would receive a full page ad in this publication for a year for $500. I looked up their facebook, website and reviews before I agreed to this. I gave my card number over the phone and they sent me a receipt through email. They sent a request for my ad with all the specifics they needed. I sent in my ad copy and thought the publication would arrive in a few months. Today (September 27) he called again asking me to do the same advertising at the local ski resorts. I told him I couldn't afford to and he went down to $350. I told him I would call him back. I talked to my husband and he said he wished we could see the actual publication and I wondered when that would come to us. So I called Bryan back and asked him and he said "You only JUST signed up! That ad won't be out for 90 - 120 days!" I asked him if he could send me the current magazine just so we could see the publication. He said that wasn't possible so I got suspicious. I called the local country clubs they listed on my "contract" that he said my publication would be going to and they said they have received this call before and no publication called "Golfer's Digest" exists - at least not that they carry. Bryan seemed upset on the phone that I wouldn't make the decision to advertise without my husband's approval. HA! I have called to dispute the transaction with my bank.

I have emails from the company, seen the website and social media. Don't believe it.

I spent hundreds of my marketing dollars on an ad to promote my Medicare business as their "exclusive" insurance broker presented to me by a:

Bill Miner
General Manager
(877) 408.0251 Ext. 301
[email protected]

When I received my copy and opened up to the first page...there is another agent that does the exact same thing as me on the first page of the magazine! How am I close to exclusive! Bad for Business! I've left him messages, Facebook reviews, BBB review, but so far I haven't received any communication back at all!

This business has sent out emails instructing local businesses they have an opportunity to advertise their business with publications from local country clubs.

As a private country club in Cincinnati, OH, we do not have any such publication and do no such advertising of companies.

We have had businesses that were targeted with this email calling and asking us about this.
