Received call from number with no area code - 650-0542 & 807-2913 stating they were UPS and I had a packaged ceased. I was told I needed to contact them back at 800-333-3274 for "options" on delivery. I did not order anything requiring delivery. I did not call them back as there was no area code on the incoming calls so I thought it was weird. Wanted to report to warn others.

I received this text:

(UPS-Notification) You have an undeliverable package with tracking number 1Z77594813*****115. Rescheduling required!

So I inputted my name address birthdate and credit card number and it sent me a message saying my package would be delivered within two days. But there was no confirmation of it in my text or email so I got suspicious and came to the BBB.

They said my wife won some money and they wanted me to open an account for $50 so that they can transfer the winnings. I said no and they are a fraud.

The scammer appears to be from UPS delivery service. They emailed from [email protected]

They wanted an ID and phone number of mine in the email so I could recieve a check.

Which look so suspicious as heck.
