Similar situation. Purchased kitten online and this company contacted us wanting 2500 for a secure shipping crate ... but we would get 98% of the money back on delivery. Its "just a deposit .

Charging for delivery of a kitten, then telling me that the kitten was being delivered via plane, however, then sent me a bill for an additional 3,000 for the kitten to have shots when it is received. The kitten should have already had it shots.
