In 2023 I was 75-years old and looking for a way to supplement my Social Security so I answered an ad on Craigslist about receiving passive income with little work on my part. A gentleman named Adam Zuckerman replied and the first thing he wanted to know was the credit limit on my credit card. I said $20k and he said I could get paid by allowing others to be authorized users on that card, without giving them access to the details, therefore allowing them to boost their credit and apply for funds to invest in his company UnpluggedVC. I readily agreed. He then said that if my credit limit was higher I could be paid more and the way this would work is I would max out my card and immediately pay it back which would have the effect of boosting my credit score and increasing my credit limit. He said he would pay off the card with funds from his company. Like an [censored] I followed his advice and made several payments to entities he recommended and waited patiently for the card to be paid off, all the while getting nothing but excuses from him as to why it was not happening. It's been 23-months now and I'm still waiting. Meanwhile I'm having to pay upwards of $500 each month to to pay the minimum balance on the credit card, and I've had to return to work in order to do this. I recently learned that Zuckerman is a convicted felon who went to prison for fraud. He was the target of an FBI investigation "Operation Lease Fleece" and was indicted in Nov 2007 along with 26 co-conspirators and sentenced to 37-months in federal prison in 2012. Also I am not his only victim. I am in touch with two others who were scammed as well, a widowed mother who lost $60k and a business owner who I believe lost $150k. They tell me there are other victims as well. In the case of the widowed mother she has shown me emails where he made death threats against her for demanding the return of her money. There was also a co-conspirator I had contact with, Jaime Rojas, who I believe is now in prison convicted of murder. Here are two numbers that I have for Rojas (949-659-8289) & (310-938-9673). Here is a second email address for Zuckerman ([email protected]). He also listed a Nuttalya Russi as comptroller for his company.
