I received a call asking if I was who I was by name. I answered "yes" before realizing it was a robocall and am now concerned that I am the victim of a scam call that uses the recorded "yes" response to make unauthorized charges. No advertiser's phone number was given during the call. I obtained the phone number from my phone's caller id information. I called the number back and got a recording saying that "no one was available to speak with me at this time" or that they might be closed. The recording offered an option to be placed on their "do not call" list, which I did. The recording informed that it could take up to 72 hours before my number was removed from the organization that they were calling on behalf of. I received the call on July 26, 2017 at 8:22 am (my local time, which is currently 10 hours ahead of Eastern Daylight time). While my phone number is based out of Virginia, my currently mailing address is a military postal address based out of California (96562).
