I got a phone call from a phone number of 518-746-4479 at 10:36 am on wed March 2 2016 being threatened someone is trying to file a civil suit against me they would not say who they were or who was filing the civil suit they gave me a phone number and a case number 1-888-580-0858 case #1444937 the man I talked to ad that number was Brent Thompson his direct line was 323-391-2995 he told me I had a outstanding debt with Citibank MasterCard for over 9 grand and if I did not settle with 1/3 I'd go to court and pay over 15 grand and not have any credit or bank accounts or loans or anything I asked what 1/3 is he said 5 grand and 1/3 is actually 3 grand of 9 grand I told him I don't have that kind of money they are giving me till Friday or Monday to pay it! Now the first call I have gotten from that 518-746-4479 told me they sent certified mail to a po box *** they didn't say which city but I did have a po box *** a long long time ago. Now the guy Brent Thompson I called said that they sent a certified piece of mail to a *** road address and did not give a street number or city which I used to live on *** road my cousin lives there and nothing came for me to sign for! Now that lady from the 518-746-4479 told me if I didn't call that company with the case number by the end of yesterday they would be there to serve me in person by the next day! But when I talked to that guy Brent he said they were filing the complaint by the 11th of March 2016 which it just don't add up no one says the name of the companies the 888 number I left here claims to be a law firm that answers the phone hello how unprofessional! Now I've done some online research and scam all fighters .com says the 888-580-0858 is reported a scam number also used to be Theodore s Walters insurance broker which is no longer using that number! I also looked into the 518-746-4479 number and multiple people complain about that same number calling them and when you call it back instant answer machine! I also looked up the 323-391-2995 and someone reported that someone was asking to setup a payment arrangement for a old us bank account saying there was a complaint filed against them! I really hope someone can look into this so other people don't get scammed out of thousands of dollars! Also the guy had my last 4 of my social security number! And I will also say I had a credit card debt when I was 19 for the amount of 9 grand I had it in collections I had a judgement and it was on my credit report for 7 years it's now almost 12 years later and statue of limitations for nys states there cannot be a civil suit against me for a credit card debt older than 7 years from the first missed payment!!! So this person got ahold of old records and didn't have a correct address telling me lies not representing who they work for!
