Type of a scam Moving
I was hired by Univeral Moving Services in October 2017 as a sales representative for their company. After several months of my employment, the lies I was told as a new hire began to come to light. Universal Moving Services, AKA Precision Relocation, Advanced Relocation, Northstar Moving Company, Cross Country Movers, Interstate Moving Company, Zip to Zip Movers, The Other Side Movers, was nothing more or less than a clever disguise for the owners, Timothy Igneri, Yosef Ashdot, and Taylor Igneri to scam people. My clients either had entire loads destroyed, items missing, or their deliveries were extremely late or undelivered. The reviews online speak for themselves. Owners/managers have knowledge that delivery drivers are not reputable and hire them anyways. The admin (who later quit and blocked all contact from the owners/managers) was suppressing online reviews to hide what was going on per what she was told to do. Clients were told items were already shipped out when they were not, they frequently had issues contacting management personnel, etc. Clients frequently emailed/called in to tell me that the pickup crew showed up in an unmarked truck with the company name written in sharpee, delivery drivers showed up with homeless bums they picked up from local shelters, and that the price I gave them, no matter how meticulous I was in measuring every single item, calculating the charges, or giving promises my manager approved, were always upcharged astronomically. DO NOT HIRE any of these companies.
