a company called universal manufacturing left a message interested in licensing our patent. after making contact with them they set up a phone meeting with their licensing agent.. when they said we have to pay money... knew it was smam.

Contacted by company because they wanted to "license" my patent. Trolled new patents issued on USPTO website. All I needed to do was give them $4,000. Did a business search on Sec of State IL website and no record of them. Stated they have been in business since 1999, but a whois search revealed their site was created in February 2018. Smells bad.
