I was looking for a job on indeed when I came across a job posting about a chauffeur driver paid per drive and I applied I ended up interviewing over phone which I didn’t think was out of the normal due to COVID i got the position and I was told a check would be mailed to me to set up the Rental vehicle and my first weeks payment so I got the check a week later went to my bank to cash it and it was denied and I was charged for that then when I told the lady that she asked how else we can make this happen so she told me her associate would give me access to there company card that has all the funds for her but in order for me to be allowed to hold the card I’d have to get verified on Id.me so I did I didn’t think anything of it because it said that was the government uses for there employees or contractors so that website gave them all my info my ss my birthday my address and now any time I hear back from her it’s a change in payment or them asking for more info about me or my bank I don’t give them any but I do think I’ve given them to much without realizing
