I stupidly wired using Zelle the purchase amount of $850.00. I signed contract and they said they were going to ship the puppy
next day.
Next day, company by the name of United Transit Express called me to verify shipping information. Later they called me to tell me that the crate the puppy was in was not safe, and that I needed to put a deposit of $ 1,000.00 to have the puppy ship in a safer and temperature control crate. They said the money was fully refundable 95% of it and will get it in cash upon delivery. I stupidly made the transfer to them via Zelle because they wouldn't take credit card. Hours pass by, I get a call at night saying that the puppy is in Tennesse and they noticed that he didn't have insurance. By this time I figured out it was all scam as they asked me again for $ 850.00 for insurance money.
