Consumer was sent a message from someone supposedly by the name of Douglas James, on Facebook, saying he was from the United Nations Compensations Commission (a real organization) with this message.

He told him that he was due $200,000 and wanted him to provide:

6. Residential Address:

7. Telephone Number:

8. Mobile Number:

9. Marital Status:

10. Age:

11. Alternative E-mail ID:

12. Copy of any identification document

Consumer also received a message from a Facebook friend that said she had gotten the same message & that she received the check. She also said that many of her friends had also received a check and their banks all said the check was good. The Facebook friend was contact by this consumer and she said she never sent that message, so he called ScamPulse.com to check on this.
