I applied twice for their so-called 'dispatcher' position and got screwed over both times. The first time, They called me for an interview only to tell me that the position was not available anymore. Of course, they didn't bother to call and tell me that until I arrived. The second time, they actually interview me and its going good. I'm thinking 'the first time must have been a fluke'.. Then, lo and behold, they ' hire' me. They even have me go through the whole rigamorale of an offer letter and doing benefits paperwork and all that. One of the dispatchers even called me to see if I could work the weekend for him( I couldn't because I'm waiting on training). The dispatch 'supervisor' tells me that training is canceled and then ignores me. For like two weeks! I'm a patient person but this is LA and I got school and bills. All I wanted to know was when I can start training for the job you HIRED me to do. Called again today only for the receptionist to tell me that dispatch supervisor told her that job is 'no longer available'. AGAIN!! My question is ' WHY?' Why did you even bother to post the job in the first place if its never available?? Or better yet, why even interview me and 'hire' me and have me go through all them hoops if the position is that 'iffy'? Makes no DAMN sense at all. What makes the most mad is that they wasted my TIME. TIME is the one thing we can never get more of. It's not like I'm out here bad but still some steady income never hurts. That's two weeks I could've spent looking for a gig that I didn't do because I thought I already had a job. So double thumbs down to this company and I'm telling everyone I know to avoid these [censored] like the damn plague
