I was trying to forward Mail to a new address and searched for USPS forward mail. Clicked on the first Google result that said USPS fast and secure change of address. Did not say on website that it would charge me $89.95 and looked a lot like the official USPS website. Saw charge on my card for $89.95. I searched the internet about this company and it is evidently a scam.

I Googled "USPS change of address" and clicked the first link that came up (it said USPSAddress change). I went through the steps to change my address (giving up my personal information) without carefully looking at the URL. I paid for the address change and lost about $90 (it originally claimed to be $1.05, which is the true USPS price). Interestingly, when I try to return to the scammer's website, the site is blank - their site must recognize me through cookies and prevent me from making contact.

I feel silly, stupid, and angry to have fallen into this trap. It is unfortunate that Google's algorithm prioritizes this website and other scammers' websites above the real USPS website.
