United Address Post Reports & Reviews (2)

If you search for how to forward a mailing address, this is the first website that pops up on Google. However, the link doesn't take you to the homepage of the website (which lists an enormous price for this service)--it takes you to an online form that shares a similar format and color scheme with the USPS website. USPS charges very little for mail forwarding (less than $2), but this website will charge your card nearly $100 to have someone else arrange your mail forwarding with USPS. If you are multitasking and in a rush (as I stupidly was), you may enter your information only to be shocked with an emailed receipt for a charge of roughly $100. I called the company's customer service and they argued with me repeatedly over the charge. They insisted that they could charge me only half the price, etc., until they promised to cancel my order and "only" charge me the cost that USPS would charge (less than $2). I had to argue some more to get them to cancel the order completely. I also called my bank, told them about the problem, and canceled my card.

This website looks like an official USPS site but is not and will charge $99.70 for a change of address. I was in a hurry and didn't realize it was not the real USPS website until it was too late. Fortunately my bank flagged the charge as fraudulent and I also called the company and told them to cancel the order.
