I was in the middle of a move and juggling a bunch of different places to contact for my address change via apps/online sites/etc. I typed in “USPS” into google search; the first result up top was listed as “change of address” and the website it brought me to had similar colors as the USPS site. I now realize it was an ad, because when I research for “USPS” the first result is now their official website and not United Address Form. I just checked my online banking and found a $79.95 pending charge on the credit card I entered on their site, whereas USPS was only $1.05 total for their transaction.
