This person posted on Indeed.com looking to hire a personal assistant. It was a very detailed posting, including job duties. Once I accepted the position I was told my first weeks pay would be mailed in form of a check (they did not push me for direct deposit information). Then when the check came, to deduct my first weeks pay, and use the remaining funds to buy a list of items from any local store that "she" will be donating to an Orphanage. I was told once I receive and cash the check, the list of items and Orphanages details would be provided. I knew by the old school term "Orphanage" a couple misprints and gmail being the contact, that is is a scam. I also googled "personal assistant scam Indeed.com" and found this has been ongoing for over a year, just different names and areas used.
