Said they were a law firm trying to serve me with papers for a letter of intent from a lender stating I took out a loan and did not pay back, tried to get me to pay a settlement amount over the phone. Had an old address I no longer live at. Only information I confirmed was last 4 digits of SSN.

I hung up once they tried getting money from me as then I knew it was a scam. Never had a loan that was not paid back.
