I was supposed to get a puppy delivered through https://grasslandpuppies.com/. At first everything looked above board but then they required a $980 deposit on a crate to transfer the puppy which was supposedly 90% refundable upon delivery. They couldn't process any payment information conveniently then asked for gift cards. I knew something was suspect at that point but my daughter really wanted this puppy so I caved. Shortly thereafter I get a bogus claim that another $600 (refundable was needed for some sort of permit for the puppy to get through Columbia SC). That's when I went nuclear.
