I was texted by a Sheena Wade in regards to my resume which supposedly suits their Data Entry Job Position. After replying, They texted me that I will be contacted via Skype by a Collins Peterson (Skype Name: live:collinsrecruitdesk). I assumed it was going to be a video interview, but it was an entirely message-based interview. The next day I was hired and they asked for my personal info to send the check like my contact info and emergency contact. They sent the check which I was supposed to use to purchase equipment for the job such as a desk, chair, computer, and a printer/scanner which amounted to $1,850.89. the check sent was through e-mail from [email protected]. So I had to print it. After printing I tried to deposit through my bank's app. Which didn't take, I tried with the 3 separate checks all sent through e-mail and all of it didn't take. So I suggested they send the actual check. The next day, Collins Peterson contacted me using a new Skype Name (live:.cid.38064a14176e0fc9), they sent the check via FedEx, and in the meantime I was given my first task of writing an article. The next day, I was given my second task and the check arrived. The check was not sent from Weston, Florida but from San Carlos, California with the amount of $7,253.89. So I tried depositing the check via the bank's app again, and it still didn't take. So I was instructed to deposit it via the ATM machine. I went to the bank after finishing the second task which was another article. The check also arrived with a letter instructing me to send the deposit slip to [email protected] or [email protected]. The note did not have a proper letterhead, did not have a person's signature and the name at the end was just "Payment Department". The sender of the check was named Shipping Department. After asking Collins Peterson about it, he answers its the financial company responsible for sending the checks. After submitting my second task, I went to the bank and tried to deposit it. The bank teller couldn't verify it with the source bank as the source bank was already closed, which by the way is a different source bank from the checks sent by e-mail. On the weekend, I checked Ultimate Kronos Group at the Better Business Bureau and they are in the Scam Tracker. The following Monday, I go back to the bank, and the source bank verify's that the bank is a fake. They couldn't verify it. This confirms to me that it is a scam. After asking Collins Peterson why the different e-mails are used, he says that they are4 updating the company system, which I did not believe.
