https://ukcpitbullrescuedcenter.com/ Is the fourth business listed when searching “American Pitbull puppies for sale” on google. Initially we contacted the seller for a puppy named Chloe (still showing available on the webpage now) via their online chat. During the online chat the person stated they will be calling us. We spoke to the manager of sales about the puppy and stated that the payment can be sent via Zelle to Jamari mills at [email protected]. We sent the first $500 to this Zelle account (can provide transaction number upon request). And then the following day we sent the follow payment to another Zelle account as the manager of sales stated there was an issue with the first account. Second payment of $410 was sent to the seller account [email protected] (which is now no longer a valid Zelle account) (can provide transaction number upon request).

Next the manager of sales stops responding after both payments were sent. Finally three days later was able to get ahold of the manger of sales and he tried to claim the $500 payment was never received. After expressing concerns on this being a scam, the manager of sales sent us the tracking info for the shipper. https://worldwidelogistic-express.com/track/

On 1/9/23, the tracking showed in transit to next facility. On 1/10/23 at 4:43pm pst we received and email stating that the puppy needed yo be moved into thermal electric crate for shipping and it would cost $1500 additional funds to do so that would be refunded via cash during drop off of the puppy.

We responded to the email stating to contact the sender of the puppy to get additional funds and they eventually responded that if they do not receive funds within 24 hours they will send the puppy to a new rescue due to the sender and receiver of the puppy being irresponsible.

We have filed claims with Zelle for both payments, reported them to the IPATA for pet scams, filed a police report, contacted the senders bank to report the fraud, and filing a IC3 with the FBI, filed a complaint with the FTC
