The caller ID on the phone call I received read UC Davis Health 916-734-7699. When I answered I heard a recorded electronic voice stating my subscription to an unnamed service was going to be renewed for $299 and to cancel I should call a certain number. Unfortunately I wasn't able to catch the full number. The recording did not mention anything about health care and I have not done any business with UC Davis Health. I believe the phone number was spoofed and if I did call to cancel I would have been asked to pay some kind of fee or provide personal information to the scammers.
