It was my understanding that a payment in the amount of $5,500 was on hold under my account due to a fee of $1,500 which was yet to be paid after I spent $500 on 3 gift cards. I was made aware of this by an individual by the name of Chris York on the cash app which IM'ed me on Facebook. I refused to pay the fee of course due to this being a scam so I would not lose any more money going forward.

Well long story short I’m out $800 to a scam over Facebook to cash app dealing with buying gift cards and putting money on them and sending pictures of the cards to flip them to get more money!
