I am an older man living on a limited income and was trying to lower my bills ! I was looking on the internet for a antenna for my house . I do not give out my information on a computer . I found T.V.ANTENNA.ORG webpage and seen a 800-935-2788 . I had a few questions about the product so I called the number, a machine picked up said they were busy leave a phone number and someone would call back . I had called from a friends phone and left my number ! A woman called my friends phone back a few seconds later . So far nothing seemed out of place to me so, I explained where I lived and was worried about picking up a signal . She said the antenna I had picked would indeed pickup at least two towers ! Both towers would give more channels than I had expected each delivered more than five . I asked how long it would take for the product to arrive, she said three days . I like to buy American and on the top of the page was a American Flag and the caption read PROUD AMERICAN and it came with a warranty,at this time I told the lady I would purchase the antenna . So I explained that I did not like to put my information online so I gave the information over the phone . The order was placed on the 3rd and was postmarked on the 4th the antenna came on the 8th . On the 9th a friend and I installed the antenna on a 20 foot pole on top of my house which is another 12 foot off the ground and secured it with cables . In opening the box the product came in there was another box and the product was made in China . The red flags started going up and the bells and whistles going off ! I had also bought a inline surge unit for a extra $10.00 and it added another 3 years to the 2 year warranty this Is a total of five years I would not have to worry about a cable bill or a dish payment . I programed the t. v. . I did not get the reception that was spoken of so I called customer service that afternoon . Got no answer and have called at least twice a day every day since . Left emails , call back numbers . I have been looking at the reviews and I am not the only one with this problem . There is another company t. v. deals.com that has a mailing address 2369 Farm to Market rd. 2318 . But in looking on the sat. map there is nothing there . Closest building is a church . Needless to say . I no longer think the warranty in any good . Sorry have to laugh to keep from crying ! Do not purchase from either company . I remember the old saying Buyer beware !!!!! PLEASE POST ....
