My high schooler indicated on a practice SAT that he was interested in some additional materials for college prep. I didn't realize it until I received a phone call from someone at "Student Achievement". They indicated that I would receive a CD with the prep materials, to which I replied "That's ok we'll pass, we don't have a computer with a CD reader". They said they'd send a flash drive and charge a small amount for the materials that would be refunded if returned within 30 days. They made it sound like he could use the materials for free for 30 days and the charge was nominal to cover the expenses if materials weren't returned.

A few days later we received 2 CDs and were charged $250! I tried giving the number a call several times but no one answered. I sent the materials back on 5/24 and tried calling them yesterday to confirm receipt, no answer. They called back from a restricted number at 7:00 pm and asked me to verify the tracking number, instead of attempting to confirm they received the materials. I just found the tracking number and USPS attempted delivery but was unsuccessful. The address they provided was a PO box so I don't know why the delivery wasn't successful unless they pay for a PO box so small that the materials can't be automatically delivered.
