Type of a scam Employment

I found the job posting in LinkedIn, I apply for a job. I received an email offering me a job Application Form on January 25, 2022. I filled up Name, Mobile #, and Position, I choose Office Assistant. 2nd email, she said I am glad you accepted my job offer. Jennifer Dookie the Manager send me Employment Agreement to be signed all pages with attached copy Alberta ID, so I signed it, I notice the document signed by Robin Morin, Managing Director with small stamp on the side of signature. Send it on the January 28. On the same day 10:59 am received email said Congratulations! You are employed she said I will start 5 days training paying me $50 a day after that I will start my daily tasks. She said, send the direct deposit form or void check and I will call you to arrange an interview. So I send my void check. So Saturday I emailed her I need to talk to her in person on Monday, so she emailed me back saying. She will talk to me on Monday Jan31, 9:30 about the training, and she booked an interview for me at 10:00 am. Monday I phone her many times but no answer, I emailed her again and respond to my email, she said everything is ready for your first task. Our ongoing communication will be through Telegram Messenger, you need to download this apps. My telegram number: **********. She said Do you have any scheduled tasks or appointment now? You should respond promptly to all calls and messages from Tugae Staffing Solutions Inc. We will pay your $50 salary at the end of each training day via direct deposit. I told her I need to talk to them personally and see their face. That’s the last email I received.

Hey,

I just got the same email, same order of events, after regrettably giving them my direct deposit information and a fortunately incomplete set of images containing the work agreement.

I still can't say for absolutely 100% certain if this is a scam, but the way the hiring process went literally backward (agreement first, interview later) did make me feel a bit suspicious. It, unfortunately, didn't deter me from giving Jennifer Dookie an image of my ID, so now I'm booking an appointment with Passport Canada to get a new passport, just in case. I also got in touch with my bank and had them confirm what harm could be done by giving a sketchy party my direct deposit information, to which the customer service person assured me all the other party could do with it was deposit funds, not withdraw funds, but I'm worried about my passport information being able to circumvent my bank account information anyway.

I'm erring on the side of Tugae Staffing Solutions being a scam.
