When I click on the website, it was a third-party company that impersonated the government department. It charged me $149 for the application fee. In addition, I was asked to fill out forms with sensitive, personal information including my full name, passport number , DL, and 5 year home address history.
I paid but they never submitted my application form through the correct channels. I have lost money and shared my personal information with scammers.
When I clicked on the link, it appeared to be an official TSA Precheck site. They asked for all the information as I would expect to provide in the process.
