The website imitates a TSA pre-check government website including the markings that say it?s an official government website with .gov in the website address. You then fill out the form with personal information and pay $149. It gives you an appointment with your local identity TSA office where you go with your original documents to finalize the pre-check. The odd part is there is an actual appointment with your information at the local office so it must be getting through somehow. Although, the local office does not charge $149, they charge $85 as stated on the legitimate government website.

I had to cancel my credit card due to fraud and get the charge reversed.
