They ask for SSN and credit card info. Who is running this website? It shows up in the first item when you search how to renew a passport. It is not official. They need to be shutdown.

I Googled passport renewal and was in a rush.

I clicked on this '.org' site not even thinking and after submitting my information I felt gut punched as I realized it was totally a scam.

The next screen was asking for a credit card for payment which I did not send.

I looked the site up on sitechecker and found it said this about the site:

It also mentions that the site status is:

After reading the last submission, I felt I had to report this too.

I just don't understand why this site is still searchable?

I am going to report to Google as well.

Similar to others, I googled renewing my passport and clicked on the business listed at the top. I input all of my information, and it wasn't until the payment page not going through the first time that I realized the website was not legitimate. I did not complete an order, but I did already input all of my private information and my bank notified me of suspicious charges being attempted. I messaged them through a "contact us" page, as they had no email or phone number, and requested they confirm erasing all of my information, but I doubt I will hear from them.
