Google to renew expired Global Entry credential and the scammer website came up first, website appeared to be US Government website for U.S. Custom Global Entry. After processing the transaction the Bank Credit Card receipt said US*GLOBAL ENTRY $299.71 and then a Foreign Transaction Fee of $8.99. The confirmation email from the company did not come from a U>S. Government site so I called my Bank (Chase) and disputed the charges and cancelled my credit card. The scammers did get my Global Entry number, name, date of birth, place of birth, employment information, address, phone number, and recent international travel history.

This business presents as a global entry application, but they are not. They have you fill out the application yourself and process it as if they are a third party. They take identifiable information and I paid $150 thinking it was my application directly to homeland security. They are unresponsive and avoiding my emails once I demanded a refund and said I would file a fraud claim.

Global traveler assist charged me $250 for a global entry application that should have only cost $100. It was not made clear to me that I was not going through the government site directly.
