I have now received at least ten of these which show "Public--Records" as the From email address. In each of these emails, i am warned that "Someone May have Run a Background-check on You, [last name] >>View Results! > " and which has the link within it, hidden. I can send a private copy of what I received, but not in this perhaps public area. At the very bottom are the words "unsubscribe" to discontinue receiving marketing emails from TruthFinder. Then the link: unsubscribe, which will, of course, bring you to an undesirable link, so I have not done that. I am concerned that this might be true, but I need to check on it. Please assist. I have an otherwise good reputation and if this is true, it could be someone trying to discredit me. Please help. My reputation is worth currency to me.
