I received a letter from this "company" informing that I am one of the winners of the "North America Consumer Promotion Draw." This award is organized for all customers of WalMart, Sears, Home Depot, Safeway, etc. The award is $250,000.00. Enclosed is a check for $2,524.50 (bogus) and a processing and insurance fee of $2,000 is required before I can receive my winnings. Contact Mark Lopez at 1-877-628-7864 to discuss my winnings and further instructions. W. Hunter is the Vice President of Finance.

There is a Claim Number: 407-70-27-LW

This is disturbing because some people will actually fall for this. And, these people must have "bought" our name from one of the businesses listed in the letter. So, how does that happen? Fortunately, I know this to be a scam and did not send any money although solicited for same.
