I bought a set of masks for $6.95 through after finishing a survey, but then discovered 2 days later that a charge for $ 49.95 appeared for 8332258554FORMFIT. I did not authorize such a transaction, so I called my bank and reported it as a fraudulent transaction. The bank closed my debit card where the transaction was posted so that the fraudulent company cannot continue to charge it. Don't fall for this crap!

My wife fell for this too. Just discovered it now after 5 month of charges. We reported it as fraudulent activity on the card. Same "MEGASTAR" initial $6.95 charge and the latest was TRULYCLEARPRO.COM. Here are some of the other "sites" charging the $49.95 monthly fee to look out for:
STNACRE* 866-2940759 NYUS
8332258554FORMFIT 833-2258554 NYUS

My experience was exactly the same as the other two people on here except it was for Lowe's. I'm so angry and annoyed!

My letter to scam artist:

Trulyclearpro.com

A few days ago I received an email from Home Depot who offered $50 gift card (stated a gift card you can use in the store worth $50.00, but then it only offered those junk trash so called “gifts for doing survey” that say “only 3 left, hurry” after filling out a short survey.) I finished the survey, it leads me into the page with many special gift options where I only need pay for shipping. I did not need anything but I stupidly decided to try the free hidden tiny camera, it opened the website TRULYCLEARPRO.COM where I purchased the camera for $6.95 shipping cost. There was no hidden fine print to be seen anywhere about continuing monthly charges, no membership I was agreeing to, and no sneaky hidden fees or charges. So, I checked out the “worth $50.00 free gift for doing survey” item for the $6.95 shipping cost.

May 25, 2021, I look at my CC account and find a transaction deduction of $49.95, it showed 8332855053 from TRULYCLEARPRO.COM. On addition to that on May 24, 2021, I was also charged the $6.95 shipping that I was reluctantly expecting from a completely different number and company name. The deduction of $6.95, 8662966195 from MEGASTAR was a part of the same scam but at least I expected that. I should have known because they scammed me with lies from the beginning when they stated a $50.00 gift card that I can spend in the Home Depot and that “POOF” never appeared at the end. Neither of those company names was even in the information they connected to me once I completed the survey. This is disgusting and infuriating that this happens way too often. Why is it so hard to prevent these scam artist [censored] from ripping us off.

They put my account on hold. I have not seen any credit of $49.95 back into my credit card after few days of waiting.

PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS!

I spent all this time to write this with the purpose to help others, so people do not fall into the scam as I did.

I keep getting these official looking, logo stealing identical to the company they are using to scam you with. Can you do anything to help stop this feces please.

Sincerely,
Kim Grugan

Thanks! I thought I was going crazy looking into this. The same exact thing happened to me but with a Lowes survey and gift card. I ended up paying the $6.95 shipping for Canine CBD and ended up with the $49.95 Truly Clear Pro charge on my card. In the process now of getting a refund from my credit union. I'm so angry at myself for falling for this scam.

Sincerely,

Julie B.

On April 19th, 2021, I received an email from Ace Hardware who offered 50$ after giving them a short survey. I finished the survey, it leads me into the page with many shopping options. I did not need anything but the tactical pen, it opened the website TRULYCLEARPRO.COM where I purchased the pen for $6.95. There was no hidden fine print can be seen anywhere. So, I checked out the item.

Two days later, I got a transaction of S 49.95, it showed 8664495401STAYFIT FL. I did not recognize the name, therefore I called them. They said when I bought the pen, it meant that I automatically enrolled into some membership, until now I have no idea what it is, and it will repeat monthly. I told them this is a scam. They responded, it is not because they answered the phone.

After fighting with them, they promise to refund my money and asked me to return the pen to be able to cancel the membership. And the restocking fee was $9.50. Then she put me on hold for a while. Coming back, she said she waived the restocking fee, but it is my responsibility to ship the pen back.

They put my account on hold. I have not seen any credit of $49.95 back into my credit card after few days of waiting. I called my credit card customer services, they immediately credited the money.

I am very upset and still thinking, if I should return the pen or not. Whatever it is, I lost some money through this if I ships the item back to them. It is not much; the point is they were scamming people. I think they target people who is not American, thinking we don't know enough English to find out but accept whatever happened.

This time, they messed around with a wrong person.

This is a well-organized but confused system, it is not easy to track them for people whose English as the second language.

First, The email from Ace Hardware.

Second, TRULYCLEARPRO.COM where I purchased the tactical pen

Third, 8664495401STAYFIT FL where they post the membership transaction

Fourth, [email protected], the email they used to confirm they credited the refund.

PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS!

I spent all this time to write this with the purpose to help others, so people do not fall into the scam as I did.

On April 26th. 21, I got another scam, but it came from HOME DEPOT. Please see the picture below. I deleted the one from ACE HARDWARE, otherwise I would put it on here as well.

I responded to the person above. Sane for me but with Lowes. I'm so angry! Thanks for sharing!
