Following a facebook ad, I bought one bottle of product for an advertised price of $39.99. My credit card was charged for $199.95. I immediately called the number given and was told the $39.99 price was only good if I bought 5 bottles. (When I clicked the "buy" button, the amount displayed was $39.98 or $39.99.) I tried to cancel the order immediately but was told that the order had already been processed. They offered me $100 back. I agreed to that and figured it was an expensive lesson learned on my part. I had canceled my credit card because of the scam, so they offered to send an echeck through my email. I have never received it. I have tried five more times to get my money back and each time I've been told that the billing department hasn't responded to their request yet. On today's call, 7/17/2023, I was first told this same line about the billing department. When I challenged that, they said refunds could only be given within 30 days of purchase and I was outside that window. When I challenged that, they said there was nothing else they could do, there were no further phone numbers they could give me to call. The customer service reps who answered my call were always polite but no action. They had heavy accents and there was always a lot of noise in the background, so I assume it was a foreign call center. (trueformketo.com no longer seems like a working website)
