I was looking for a pug and came across the True Pug Havens website. It appears quite legitimate. After emailing with a person who claimed to be the owner of the company and giving him my information, he told me that I needed to put down a $300 deposit to hold the dog. I would pay him through PayPal friends and family account. I was getting ready to pay when I decided to do a little research on the company. I read that if a breeder doesn't list the address or if they're not willing to video chat with you about the dog its probably a scam. So, I asked to video chat before I sent him any money. He stated that he doesn't do "social media apps" but instead sent me a video of the puppies with him voicing over the video while using my name. Once he told me he wouldn't video chat with me, I realized it was probably a scam.
