On 6/27/23 I went to Tropics Jewelry to buy a pair of earrings. I bought the earrings the salesperson stated they were 10-carat gold. While I was in Utah, I noticed that they were changing color. One was semi gold the other silver. I took them back & the salesperson said they were neither gold nor silver. He tested them, he said. Then I gave him my ID & the credit card I used for the purchase, he told me that there was NO record of me coming in to buy earrings. I left. Today I took the receipt down to show them that I in fact did purchase them. The receipt says 10-carat gold twisted loops. He then informed me that their security camera did show me in the store but these earrings were not what I bought. He said they weighed too much. Such a scam.
