On 5/19/23 Geek Squad, under e-mail from Aadam Richardson <[email protected]>, sent "purchase details" that my subscription to PC protection (4 users for 3 years) would be renewed for $399.98, and will auto-renew every year unless I turn it off. The only way to do this is to call 888-226-5083, a number that is constantly busy. I cannot get through at all. First, I never subscribed to this, and second, why auto-renew every YEAR when the subscription is supposedly for THREE years?

The above e-mail follows a 2/4/23 interaction with Welyard LLC (PO Box 4388, Atlanta, GA 30302) when my laptop crashed, and they were "the only ones who could fix it" at a cost of $499 for "clean-up," and two years of "network firewall protection." Those I spoke to on the phone sounded like they were from India. I had to write a check, which was cashed, so they know my bank and account number.</[email protected]>
