[email protected] sent a highly urgent email claiming my car had been illegally parked and I owed a sum of $300 to retrieve my vehicle from a tow yard, offering “secure” payment methods via credit card and demanding payment within 24 hours or my car will be sold at auction. The vehicle listed did not belong to me and I have never used this towing service before. My vehicle is in my garage and was never towed by the company claiming to have possession of my car
