Weeks and weeks go by with no updates and he becomes harder and harder to get ahold of and I’m starting to get really worried
After taking about two months he said that he was unable to get the parts that I wanted (which btw where borg clutches which anyone can order online) so he told me to order them and bring them in and he would install the clutches
I thought to myself dude **** no I’m not leaving anymore money or parts with you because it’s been over two months for a fairly basic bench build, so I ask him to just use whatever rebuild kit his supplier can get so he can just get my transmission back to me
Some more time goes buy and he texts me and says it’ll be ready around noon the next day, I loaded up the trailer and headed out to go get my transmission
Arrive at his house and he won’t pick up the phone, then he picks up the phone and then comes over and talks to me and tells me to go get some lunch and come back in a hour
I come back a hour later and I waited in his sketchy driveway for two more hours before he “finishes” my transmission I go to help him load the trans, oil pan bolts all loose non of the trans connectors are popped into place and he made absolutely no effort to clean anything
I after I get back and drop it off I don’t get time to install it for another 2 weeks, send him a message and ask him if he is confident in the transmission so I don’t ruin a 800$ torque converter and he tells me he thinks I should replace the reverse servo because he was kinda rushed (3 months he had to make sure everything was right)
I replace the servo install the transmission boom no reverse no 3-4 gear ... and now he won’t respond to me
Do not waste your time with him
