On April at 12:09 pm I was at Chicago Union Amtrak Station. After looking for a car rental online, a business called "Travell Desk" answered the phone number 1-888-880 9149. They said they would provide a rental car delivered to the station at a reasonable rate of $229 ($29 rental, $200 deposit). They said there was a special deal with American Express to get the rate (normally much higher), and informed me to purchase a gift card to get the discount. Once I purchased and gave code, the transferred the money. No car came after an hour or two, so I called back and they said the payment didn't go through, and to get another gift card. I called AmEx and they said the money was transferred to Elite Restaurant Equipment Supplies 301-309 Mount Present Ave New York, New Jersey. I called back and asked for money back as this was an obvious scam, but they did not offer anything back, blatant scam!
