I was called by Silver Travel through text. They told me I won a trip to Florida for Disney and then said Universal Studios. I believed they were legit because I went to Terrificon at Mohegan Sun in CT. A comic book convention put in a slip for a free trip.They said I was chosen as a winner. Long story short I WAS TALKED into paying 398 for 4 day stay. I believed it was due to maybe paying the tickets to the parks. Later on I look on the Terrificon Facebook page with someone getting the same text. The owner of Terrificon had zero knowledge of Silver Travel. I also looked online to find reviews. That's when I found out it was a time share scam. There were no winners they most likely picked names at random to get them to buy into their time share.
