A cheque with an accompanying letter indicating that the cheque enclosed ($9,822.34) is a charitable donation supporting the important work of our organization and requesting that a charitable tax receipt be sent right away.

The cheque was sent to our bank (SERVUS) to attempt deposit - the cheque was bogus

We do not provide a charitable receipt for any cheque donation until the cheque has cleared the bank, consequently a charitable receipt was never issued in this case
