I ordered Quail from a breeder on Facebook, they shipped the birds with this courier before it what I have been continually told and that this is the procedure. I was asked for 100$ for insurance, than 100$ for customs, then 150$ for crate and vaccines. when I delayed this payment because I was concerned the breeder paid a portion but they courier still asked for the same amount. from then on if I sent the "last payment" then would then find a reason not to deliver.....money didnt go through even though I checked with the bank etc. lastly they told me they were on there way, then they broke down..so they needed 100$ I said no and fought. the next day they were like dont worry we are on our way, eta about an hour. when they didnt show I checked in and they said they were in a terrible accident and needed to go to the hospital. I asked where they were taken and they provided me with CHOP Specialty care center in in Abington, Pennsylvania. SO THEY WERE NOT AN HOUR AWAY. This location is also not a hospital and treats children so I resigned to the fact that its a scam. they continue to try and tell me I need to send money and when they get here they are going to refund everything which is what keeps pulling me back 1450 is ALOT.
