got a letter in the mail from transamerica about my grandad who died in 1984...stated that they may have unclaimed money from the deceased and if its not claimed it could be sent back or used. called the number on the letter and was told that i needed the deceased(my grandfather) birthday and other information that i could not provide. was told to go to the cemetary to get the information off the tombstone and give it to them! something was defiinitely fishy! since then, i recieved another letter on 04/02/2020 about the unclaimed funds. all business activity and debt was handled in 1984 at the time of death so its weird that someone is saying money is being unclaimed for the deceased. definitely a scam, got information to report this to transamerica fraud dpt.

They are calling saying that you opened a loan with like a payday loan company and they have some of your information but it's old !!!! And when they tell you the bank that you used its not even in the same state as you nor have I ever opened a loan !!!
