Tramita Reports & Reviews (19)

I went online believing I went to Texas Vital Records and this site from Tramita took over and I didn't have any idea. I ordered a birth certificate and I believed that it was all ready to go, so I gave them my credit card information and they took out $49 out of my account. They took out the money before I realized that the actual cost of my birth certificate was supposed to be $22. I have not received my birth certificate after at least a month of waiting.

No way to contact this fictitious business. When calling, they provide other numbers to call, which in turn provides further information I.E phone number. They acquire your need and personal information online, with bogus emails, fictitious terms and agreement. Providing them means to access your computer and personal information etc. They offer an opt- out, though it will get kicked back as not a valid email. A word to the FBI, homeland security, any law enforcement agency in new york etc. Put a stop to this business. over 240 complaints to ScamPulse.com, all of the reviews are proof of scam....

After requesting a Birth Certificate for my daughter, Tramita processed my order of $95.00 on 1-5-18. I received a confirmation email and then I mailed the company all my documents, notarized. I contacted the company to track my order and the companies’ customer service telephone number is no longer in service I have yet to receive a birth certificate.

I ordered a birth certificate with a rush on June 4, 2018. I still have not received it. I sent an email to the company asking where my birth certificate is and this was their response.

"We have reviewed your information and unfortunately, we could not find it in our customer database. Is it possible that you have registered with another email or through another company? Please reply us with the email you have used to register or your order reference and we will assist you."

How am I not in their customer database when I ordered and have an order number?? I've tried calling them 3 times and the phone disconnects each time. I was charged $98 and never received anything and they act as if I never ordered. When I called my state's office they only charged me $25 and told me they have received many complaints against this online "service".

I mistakenly thought this was the official site to get a birth certificate as they have numerous websites when you search. I filled out the form giving confidential info and charged $110 to my Visa. What wised me up (albeit a little too late) was when they asked for numerous documentations and to get the application notorized. My bank questioned the site and did some research and told me they thought this was a scam. I then tried to call them and each time they put me on hold and then hung up. I tried the phone number that was on my charge statement and that was a disconnected number. I tried contacting them through "My order" page and nothing happens. I tried email - nothing.

Trying to get a copy of birth certificate typed in vital records trimeter popped up the site looked legit gave them my information. Including copy of drivers license now I am terrified they are going to steal my identity I am trying to get a birth certificate they said that it was mailed weeks ago and to call the post office to see if they handled in envelope you’ve got to be kidding of course they handle envelopes I called the post office nothing registered in my name to be delivered to my address several messages later emails nothing phone number doesn’t work they scamed me at out of 80 bucks. And they also have my debit information this company needs to be stopped do not use them on their website it says BBB accredited they aren’t and I should double checked

This scam company appears as first when you type "birth certificated". It means they scam is in a grand scale, since they can afford to pay for the expensive advertising in google. We never got the certificated, the phones numbers are out of service, the email was never answered.

Please stay away from this people, they take advantage of you needs.

I needed a copy of my marriage license so I could add my husband to my health insurance. I couldn't get into the city (DC) to obtain the copy so I decided to look online for a service which led me to this scam. The website looks very professional, even with a Park Avenue address. I ordered the copy over a year ago and paid $60 for it. The money was taken out of my account immediately, however the certificate was never sent. I just contacted them yesterday. They emailed me back and said my order was "still in process." From April 28, 2017?!? They also said to call the Washington, DC records office and gave me the number. When I called, the person told me I had been the victim of a scam. I then saw reviews on Yelp and they are all the same. Every single person had been scammed. How is this organization still allowed to exist? Where is law enforcement?

I ordered a birth certificate online from Tramita, after placing my order, they said it would be sent to me as fast as possible. They then send another email stating I’m halfway there and need to mail in additional documents in order to receive my birth certificate after already taking my money. It says I can cancel but I would be issued a $20 fee for processing. I canceled my order and received an email stating I would see my refund issued in 3-5 business days. It is now the 6th business day and still no refund and no response from the company. When I call them the automatic machine states the phone is having technical difficulties and to contact them through the website where again I receive no response.

I ordered my sons birth certificate through Tramita. I’ve contacted them several times through email and tried to call. No call back just confirmation emails stating someone will contact me in one business day. When you call the number they say they have a new number, that number is having technical difficulties and no one can be reached. Seems to be a total scam. Ordered it on 3/21/18. It’s now 5/1/18 and nothing

We needed to replace our child’s lost birth certificate. Spent $90 with Tramita. No certificate came. I tried to call or email them... but their phone was not working due to “technical” problems. There was an endless loop of ways to contact them via email and phone... but it did not go anywhere.

Myself and others have tried ordering Birth/Death/Marriage certificates through Tramita LLC. They can't be contacted through a working phone number, they over charge for certificates by as much as two hundred US dollars, and they do not respond to emails. I haven't been able to get a refund, and neither has anyone else who has used their site, because we can't login and check our orders or cancel order because the My Order section of their site does not work.

I needed to get a certified copy of my birth certificate to apply for a passport. Us Vital Records was the top website that came up so without looking into it much, I went through them to attempt to get my birth certificate. It's been about two months now and I've lost $65 to this "company" and I've gotten nothing in return! Do not use this company! It is a complete scam!

This company verified a wrong Date of Birth on the certificate requested for my son's Birth certificate. After requesting cancellation and a refund request as directed through their initial e-mail and contacting the company via phone, I have still not received a refund or any communication from this company. One phone number (the one on my bank statement) has been disconnected and the one on-line hangs up on me after a brief recording directing consumers to their website.

We ordered a certificate from the US Registry through this company. They took our money via credit card. They came back and asked for my personal information including a copy of my drivers license / passport stating that the State both the business and I personally reside in requires it for verification (I just got off the phone with the US Registry and they said they would NEVER request personal information to verify who was asking for the certificate and why). Further, there was no record of a request for the certificate. NONE! This company is a scam. Shortly after providing information to this company for a service they didn't provide there was credit card fraud and an attempt on my personal id. Was it them? I can't prove it but put 2 and 2 together. We paid for a service we have not received nor has US Registry received the request for death certificate. I have attempted to contact them every single day for the last week on their 844.553.9911 and each time you enter your order number for status it cuts you off, if you push option 2 to speak to a customer service agent it says they are busy and will be with you shortly, you wait on hold and ALWAYS after about 5 minutes it cuts you off and hangs up on you. So if this company takes your money, requests personal information stating that the particular state requires it when they do not, you don't receive the service you paid for, and all of a sudden there is theft on your credit card... It appears to me that they are in this to scam people and steal their personal information. Possibly a front for Identity theft. I cannot get a hold of anyone from the company. Why does this company still in existence? Something needs to be done.

They claim to be able to obtain copies of marriage licenses, death certificates , birth certificate, etc. and charging exorbitant amount of money. I tried to cancel as soon as I hit send as I realized it was a scam and nowhere are you able to reach them. The telephone number gives you options but it doesn't go anywhere. The emails that are sent have an address of no reply. I tried to stop payment with my credit card company and they told me I had to file a dispute after the fact. I am extremely unhappy and I have now seeing that there are several horror stories about this company. The public records department that I contacted to obtain an official copy of my certificate requested tells me that several people are being scammed by these people.

I am 78 years old Just moved from Philadelphia to Florida and wanted to obtain a driver's license. to obtain that I needed my birth certificate. I could not find in my belongings so I wrote vital check for my vital records for Pennsylvania and Tramita, LLC was the independent company handling the affairs to obtain the birth certificate.

I sent the application and $85.00 which should have only cost 20 or 30 dollars , along with all necessary identification . This was done in September . I received an email saying I needed more identification. I sent that in November and then received another email saying I needed more ID. All calls are not answered or you are kept on hold for over 45 minutes. then you are advised to go to there web site for update and then disconnected. There is no information for update and if you want to cancel the transaction they will charge 20 dollars more and give you

a refund of the 85 dollars less 15 dollars. I am still waiting for my birth certificate today January 11, 2018.

On 11/24/17, I ordered a copy of my birth certificate through this company. They charged me immediately for $90. Here it is 1/8/18 and no birth certificate has arrived and no one is responding to my inquiries. THIS IS A SCAM! Buyer beware! Do not use this company because you will never see your birth certificate and you’ll be out $90 with no hope of a refund.

Amongst many others who have claimed to be ripped off by this company, I was another. They seem to appear like a legitimate company but in fact-are a scam. They are one of the first sites to pop up when looking to order a vital record online. My advice- just go to your state health department and they will issue you one for a small fee and print it out immediately. This company will easily take your fee of $70 for a birth certificate but then require additional personal documents to be sent to them. They will ask for a copy of your ID, an application for birth in your state, and 2 forms of proof of address. It appears they then will take of of that information submitted, and try to submit it to your state to obtain the birth certificate that way, posing as YOU. They use email as a form of communication but when you try to call them, conveniently, their number is not in service. (They use strange business hours as well-Mon-Fri only 11-3.) Upon figuring out that they are in fact a scam, when trying to obtain a refund, they will tell you they will then charge your card another $45 for a processing fee for a total of a $20 refund. By now you are out $70, they want to charge another $45 to give back $20 for a document you were never going to receive in the first place. Not only that but they now have all of your personal information that you sent them. Your only hope is to have that card destroyed and issued a new one in hope they haven't already sold your information or stolen your identity already. Not sure how this scam of a company hasn't been shut down already but with all of these other complaints I hope something can be done.
